About Us
Ruslana Wrzesnewskyj, Sales Representative
Dedication and commitment goes into everything Ruslana Wrzesnewskyj does: from her 30 years of involvement in the real estate industry to her considerable charitable activity. She is a member of the Remax Hall of Fame, Platinum Club and the 100% Club. She has been honoured both in Canada and in Ukraine for her immense contributions to improving the quality of life of orphans in Ukraine.
Ruslana understands all of the dynamics involved in a real estate transaction, and truly enjoys them. She regularly calls her purchasers and vendors to keep them abreast of what is happening in the real estate market so that they know the market as well as she does. Ruslana’s skilled and experienced guidance through this extremely important time in a person’s life paired with the genuine interest she has in her client’s happiness has resulted in more than a few friendships along the way.
Her always-present interest in real estate came to fruition after she had worked on private real estate deals with family members. In fact, her family business experience has given her a solid background for real estate and taught her excellent decision-making skills. One of the founders of Rusand Home Renovations, Ruslana’s thorough knowledge of renovations allows her to envision the potential of any home, and quickly call in contractors for estimates. The staging of homes is part of Ruslana’s real estate marketing, which she completes as part of her commission fee.
Ruslana’s many years of experience have led her to personally know and work closely with a wide range of local professionals: from lawyers, to mortgage brokers, to design specialists, – all in the name of customer satisfaction. Ruslana will not disappoint!
Petra Wrzesnewskyj-Cottrell, Sales Representative
Petra grew up watching the Real Estate world in West Toronto with fascination – she remembers helping her mother set up open houses when she was younger! As she became older, her interests diversified – she became interested in politics, interior decorating, traveling, and volunteering with charitable organizations. She spent a few years away from Toronto: traveling Europe, interning at a foundation which was building a children’s hospital in Ukraine, and eventually deciding to attend the University of Guelph. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Honours and moved back to Toronto. She held a few jobs, which she did not find challenging enough, until one day her mother suggested she come work as her assistant and see if she still liked Real Estate. The fascination returned – after a year of working as an assistant, she began her Realtor Courses and the rest is history!
In her spare time, Petra is still actively volunteering with a charity aimed at improving the quality of life of orphans in Ukraine, spending time with her husband and son, and exploring the World.
Petra and Ruslana have now been working together for more than five years – an unbeatable combination of youthful energy and experience!
